About us


Ik ben Barbara, geboren in New York uit Italiaanse immigranten. Op 16-jarige leeftijd besloot mijn vader terug te keren naar Italië, waar we toen een restaurant zijn begonnen. Na 25 jaar besloot mijn ouders met pensioen te gaan en heb ik het complex omgebouwd tot B&B. Nu leg ik mijn gasten in de watten en zorg ik ervoor dat ze een onvergetelijke vakantie hebben. De naam Scacco Matto (Schaakmat) is gekozen omdat mijn vader een geweldige schaker was.
